These unique exhibitions will tell our story in the context of this island, of the British Isles, of Europe and of the world, giving insights into other cultures past and present and exploring the diversity of local society throughout history.

Issues of cultural identity and of the interrelationship between people and the environment will be addressed with intellectual integrity. The exhibitions will have a clear relationship to the National Curriculum, and will be accessible to people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds.
